How do I order a cake from Tico Bakery?
Order online at ticobakery.com.au — choose your cakes, pick a pickup date and time at checkout, and pay by card. All orders need at least 3 business days' notice, and pickup is from our shop at 46 Greenview Ave, Rochedale South (Brisbane southside).
Where do I pick up my order?
All orders are picked up from Tico Bakery, 46 Greenview Ave, Rochedale South QLD 4123 — about 20 minutes south of Brisbane CBD. Pickup times run from 10:30am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
Do you deliver?
No — Tico Bakery is pickup only. Cream cakes travel best flat and cool, so we hand every order over in person at the shop in Rochedale South.
When is Tico Bakery open?
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30am–4pm. Tuesday and Wednesday are pre-order pickup only; Thursday to Saturday walk-ins are welcome. We're closed Sunday and Monday.
How long can I keep the cake in the fridge for?
We recommend finishing the cake within 48 hours.
Do I need to refrigerate the cake?
Yes! Please refrigerate the cake until serving. Our cakes can be served straight from the fridge without bringing them to room temperature.
How do I transport the cake safely while driving?
Place the cake on the floor of the car (the front passenger seat floor is optimal) and drive smoothly around corners and over bumps. Please don't place the cake on the car seats — they aren't flat surfaces.
How do I cancel the cake I ordered?
Send us an email at ticocake@gmail.com and we'll cancel and refund your cake. We'd appreciate a minimum 48 hours' notice, but we understand things come up suddenly — please reach out as soon as you can.
Do you make gluten-free cakes?
Unfortunately, we can't replicate the same taste and texture with a gluten-free recipe. Currently, only our macarons (except the black sesame flavour) are gluten-free.
